Caius Iulius Archelaus Antiochus Epiphanes , også kjent som Arkelos Antiochos Epiphanes , er sønn av den siste kongen av Commagene Antiochos IV (Gaius Julius Antiochos IV Epiphanes) og av Iotopa (sannsynligvis Iotape of Commagene, søster til Antiochos IV (?)).

Han giftet seg med Claudia Capitolina , datteren til Tiberius Claudius Balbilus , fremtredende lærd, politiker og romersk astrolog under de romerske keiserne Claudius til Vespasian , prefekt i Egypt til Nero fra 55 til 59 . Fra denne unionen er han far til Gaius Julius Antiochus Epiphanes Philopappus ("Philopappos"), romersk senator og konsulat , hvis monument til minne om ham eksisterer i Athen , og til Julia Balbilla , dikterinne.
