Den internasjonale Bluegrass Music Association og IBMA er en bransjeforening ansvarlig for å fremme musikk bluegrass ligger i Owensboro i delstaten Kentucky .

Historisk

Grunnlagt i 1985, flyttet IBMA til Owensboro og i 1988 skapte den internasjonale Bluegrass Music Museum . I 1990 grunnla IBMA World of Bluegrass , et arrangement som kombinerer show, konserter og priser, som flyttet til Louisville i 1997 . Fra 2005 til 2012 bosatte World of Bluegrass seg i Nashville og deretter i Raleigh siden 2013 . I 1991 grunnla IBMA International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor innenfor International Bluegrass Music Museum . I 2003 flyttet IBMA til Nashville .
