The National Museum of American Indian er en amerikansk institusjon dedikert til historie, kultur og kunst av nordamerikanske indianere.
The National Museum of the American Indian , opprettet som et resultat av en lov vedtatt av Kongressen USA i 1989 , har et museum i Washington , et museum i New York og et senter i Suitland i Maryland .
I New York , The George Gustav Heye Senter hus rundt en million objekter fra opprinnelsen til i dag. En annen del av samlingene er i Washington, i en bygning designet av den kanadiske arkitekten Douglas Cardinal og åpnet i 2004.
