THQ Nordic (tidligere Nordic Games GmbH ) er et østerriksk selskap som spesialiserer seg på publisering av videospill , som ligger i Wien .
Historisk
Selskapet har bygd opp en katalog med merkevarer ved å kjøpe en rekke lisenser fra konkursstudioer, som JoWooD Entertainment (Legend of Kay, Spellforce), DreamCatcher Interactive og THQ (Darksiders) i 2011, eller til og med Digital Reality og NovaLogic i 2016.
Ved salg av THQs eiendeler etter konkursen, kjøpte Nordic Games THQ Digital Phoenix-studioet, som det tilbakeførte sitt opprinnelige navn, Rainbow Studios .
I Desember 2013Grimlore Games- studioet ble grunnlagt i München .
I 2016, Mirage Game Studios og Foxglove Studios ble grunnlagt i Karlstad og Stockholm , Sverige, henholdsvis .
Også i 2016 skiftet Nordic Games navn til THQ Nordic.
I oktober 2019 ble etableringen av THQ Nordic Japan KK ledet av Yuji Kato kunngjort. Målet er å distribuere THQ Nordic og HandyGames-spill på asiatisk territorium.
de 13. desember 2019THQ Nordic kunngjør dannelsen av et nytt studio, THQ Nordic Barcelona Studio , som skal håndtere nyinnspillingen av kultvideospillet Gothic .
