Sarbakan er et videospillopprettelsesstudio som ble grunnlagt av Guy Boucher i 1998. Det ligger i sentrum av Quebec , på Boulevard Charest, i Saint-Roch-distriktet . Det er det eldste videospillfirmaet i denne sektoren.
I 2008 hadde Sarbakan opprettet over 600 spill, primært for online plattformer og Nintendo DS, og begynte å fokusere på å lage nedlastbare konsollspill.
I 2010 samarbeidet Sarbakan med andre studioer (inkludert Disney Interactive Studios ) for å utvikle videospill for iOS- og Android- plattformene . En tittel, ta steget! vinner flere priser, inkludert 'Game of the Year' av Pocket Gamer , iPhone 2012 (Apple Design Award ) 2012 under WWDC .
Selskapet Adrenaline Amusements kjøpte Sarbakan 22. mai 2013.
