Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine

SQL Server Express er den gratis versjonen av Microsoft SQL Server , et databasestyringssystem (DBMS) som blant annet inneholder en RDBMS ( " relational DBMS") utviklet og tilbudt for nedlasting av Microsoft- selskapet. Det fungerer under Microsoft Windows- operativsystemer så vel som Linux-systemer siden versjon 2017.

Funksjoner

I motsetning til Microsoft SQL Server, blir SQL Server Express begrenset til støtte 4 kjerner, 4 GB av RAM , med baser opptil 10 GB i størrelse  .
